According to Romans 1:16, the gospel is the power of God to save. The word for power in Greek is dunamis, the root of which we get the word for dynamite today. Yes, the Gospel of Jesus has real power, but in order to access this power we must apply it in our lives.

On 7-19-09 @ 6PM Oasis Church answers the most basic question everyone faces in life is Why am I here? What is my purpose? Self-help books suggest that people should look within, at their own desires and dreams, but the starting place must be with God and his eternal purposes for each life. Real meaning and significance.
Come out and enjoy a great free dinner, hear some music, learn about God and make new friends as we look into the question: “What on earth am I here for?”

Rt. 22 West to Central Avenue in Mountainside (The next street past Summit Rd. Be careful or you’ll miss it. Immediately before the Central Ave. turn you will see a green sign which says RT. 22 East U-Turn). Once on Central Ave, we are the 2nd driveway. Follow that winding drive to our door.
