Hey Guys! My name is David Butler, church planter at Oasis, and I want to warmly welcome you to Oasis-Church-NJ.com, an up and coming contemporary Christian church in Middlesex County, NJ, which is only 30 minutes (the way I drive) from New York City.
What is Oasis-Church-NJ.com? Oasis Church in NJ is not only an already existing online ministry, but also a brand new church plant in New Jersey. We are a casual non-denominational NJ church which ministers to both singles and married people from all backgrounds who are hurting and hungry for real love and meaning in their lives.
The slogan in our logo, refreshing the world, reflects our laser focused vision that: We will compassionately introduce Jesus and His love to tens of thousands of hungry and hurting people all around the world. Everything we do at Oasis will be driven by our vision and mission and core values.
Idea for Oasis Began Online
One interesting unique thing about the OC in NJ is that we originally started online as an outreach and advice website for singles and single parents. Each month this outreach ministry attracts well over 100,000 guests (and growing) from almost every country of the world. Additionally, over 7000 listeners tune into our relevant and real podcasts each week where no topic is taboo. The goal of this “worldwide online congregation” is not to make people more “religious” but to transform lives in the name of Jesus.
It’s kinda weird thinking about how many people attend our “cyber church” when we compare it with the fact that we are now starting an in-person church from scratch here in NJ. It’s all good ministering online, but face to face is a much more appealing and intimate way of transforming lives, don’t ya think?
I’m amazed to see what God is doing (and going to do) to reach and grow lost people for Jesus, and we are hoping that you’ll wanna be part of the fun right here in NJ! Read on to find out more on how to get involved in all the exciting stuff that will be taking place.
At the present time we are meeting in Connect Groups on Thursdays 7:30 PM and Sundays 12 Noon at 14 Beverly Road, Piscataway , as we plan our public church launch strategy.
