In the final week of our GLEE series we talk about the fact that the greatest “glee stealer” in life is having not real and lasting purpose to live. Ever feel like that? Hi Parents! At OC we have some great programs we are developing for kids. One of the things we are working on (which we think is cool) to have what fun stuff the kids experienced in “Sunday School” posted in an interactive way online so parents and the kids can go over it together during the week. Not only does that reinforce what the kids are learning about God, but also gives parents a chance to get in on the fun too!
This week’s story is about Daniel, who as a teenage boy was taken to Babylon. One day the king was tricked into making a rule that made it a crime to pray to God.
When Daniel chose to continue to pray to God, the king had him thrown into the lions den. What do you supposed happened then? Let’s click on the video to see how the story ended:

GLEE-Week 4-Addicted to Unhealthy Relationships

Well, this week is week 4 of our GLEE series, and we want to tackle addiction. Addiction comes in many forms, some of which we don’t even realize. Addiction is probably the greatest “Glee Stealer” out there. Drugs, Sex, Alcohol, Excessive Shopping, Gambling, Workaholism, Pornography. Pick your poison. But have you ever thought that you could be “addicted” to unhealthy relationships? So many lives have been broken and families have been destroyed due to this type of addiction. But don’t despair as there is some very good news!

NJ Evangelical Church-Evangelical Churches in New Jersey

Yes, Oasis-Church-NJ.com is an evangelical church in NJ, and is just one of hundreds New Jersey Evangelical churches. What are evangelical churches? Quite simply, words like “evangelical” or “evangelism” originate from the Greek word, evangelion, which simply means gospel or good news.
What Evangelical Churches Believe
Evangelical churches like Oasis-Church-NJ teach and believe that the Bible is God’s Love Message to us. This message contains the good news that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, came to earth to save people from their sins by dying on the cross and rising again on the third day. All who believe on Him can know forgiveness and enjoy eternal life. Since this is such ‘good news”, evangelical churches seek to share this good stuff with others.
As mentioned, there are hundreds of NJ evangelical churches. Perhaps the only difference between Oasis-Church-NJ and other evangelical churches is that we are seek to communicate this wonderful message in a more contemporary and informal way that the average dude on the street can understand.

GLEE Week 3-Dealing with Your Past

This is week 3 of our Glee Series, and can you believe this is only our 3rd official service ever! Well, this week we want to tackle how to deal with our past. No one can live a joyful and abundant life in the present if they keep dwelling on the woulda, coulda shoulda of the past. Shame. Guilt. Regrets. Bad Decisions. We have all been down that road, but the great news is we don’t have stay on the same path.
