No Perfect People Allowed-Week 1-Come As You Are
July 20, 2010 by Oasis-Church-NJ.com
Oasis-Church-NJ.com kicks off its five week series No Perfect People Allowed. Even in church circles the temptation exists: let’s pretend we’re better than we really are. Whenever our true self gets cloaked in self righteousness, we’re on dangerous ground. No wonder Jesus was infuriated with one kind of person in particular—the religious hypocrite. Their obsession with outward compliance masked their inner deception. When our mindset is to embrace self-righteousness, we have missed God’s subtle disclaimer: No perfect people allowed.
Listen in as Pastor Dave shares from Luke 18:9-14 on how the wonderful grace of Jesus can reach the worst sinners as long as the come as they are without the religious facade.

Oasis Church Summer Outreach
July 12, 2010 by Oasis-Church-NJ.com
(7/21/10)-For those that didn’t know, Oasis-Church-NJ.com has been meeting several times a month in the Summer to network with people in our community letting them know about our newly forming church. We recently took a number of community surveys to get a gauge on what this area’s needs are, and gave out hundreds if granola bars and flyers in the process.
I was amazed at the committment level of the several dozen OC folks who came out in nearly 100 degree temps to flyer this place up for Jesus.
