Hey, we are now officially a NJ CMA church. Wait, or are we a NJ C&MA church? Whatever. For those of you who don’t know, CMA stands for Christian and Missionary Alliance, and there are dozens of CMA churches in New Jersey, as well as thousands all around the world.
Why We’re a NJ C&MA Church
Quite frankly, it has little to do with denominational loyalty, but ALL to do with the people who make up the CMA in the Metro District. They have a heart for church planters, and passion for fulfilling the Great Commission by reproducing churches all over the place in Jesus’ name. The CMA Metro District actually “gets it”. And that’s why Oasis-Church-NJ.com is proud and privileged to be working side by side with these guys.
Alpha Course in NJ Church

Searching for the meaning of Life? The Alpha Course @ OC meets each Sunday @ 5PM through 3/28/10. Nearly 12 million folks worldwide have attended this ten week opportunity to meet new friends and explore the meaning life from a Christian perspective in an informal and fun setting.
Each session consists of a catered dinner, a message on an important life topic such as “How do I deal with guilt” or “What happens when I die?” and “What’s the purpose of life?”and a small group discussion where no question is off limits.
The Alpha course is just plain fun, and I suppose that’s the big reason it’s so popular. So Sign up and don’t miss out on a life changing experience.. This totally free course runs on Sundaysfrom 5PM to 8PM at our wonderful church facilities located at 1180 Spruce Drive in Mountainside:

Relationships Series-Next Sunday Morning at OC-1.24.10 at 11AM!

Positive relationships are filled with energy, joy and passion. Unfortunately, many of our relationships are ‘downers’ because of critical and judgmental attitudes. So help yourself to a cup of “spiritual caffeine” as we explore how Jesus helps us perk up these relationships in our new monthly series called “Espresso Yourself”.
In our first monthly installment we are going to talk about how to deal with a critical and judgmental person, even if that person is us!
Nothing can down a relationship quicker than a critical spirit. The Bible has a lot to say about this topic, and how to successfully deal with it before it destroys our relationships with others, and our own hearts in the process!
So join us at OC on 1.24.10 @ 11AM at 1180 Spruce Dr in Mountainside as we begin this practical and fun series on relevant relationship topics that affect us all! Directions can be found here.
By the way, this will be our third Sunday morning service ever. As usual safe and fun kids program are provided, as well as a light lunch following the service.
